dia de los muertos

i would like to formally apologize to anyone who might have been offended by my last letter... just kidding. if you dont want to hear about the funny stuff thats happening feel free to unsubscribe.

tuesday we did exchanges with the aps. i went with elder watson who was my zone leader last change. now im zl and hes ap. still doing exchanges tho. he started his mission in this area and we spent the day looking for his old investigators which was awesome. we found a bunch of people to teach from doing that and im hoping that we can set some dates with a few of them this week.

tuesday and wednesday was day of the dead which is basically a mix of halloween and memorial day.  they were very unproductive days because no one really wanted to talk and then we had to be home by 8:30.

my convert from my last area texted me the other day and told me that he went to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. that made me very happy.

theres this member in one of the wards im in who just got home from his mission and hes always down to come with us to appointments or just to contact or basically do whatever. its always nice to have an awesome member like that go with us. we have been focusing on working with members and so far its been working really well.

idk if i mentioned this in my last email but a few weeks ago a guy showed up to church because a member invited him. we taught lesson one with him and set a date for baptism for the 25th of this month. and yesterday we found out he lives in another mission #smallmissionprobs that sucked to find out...

yesterday elder fleming and i had a meeting with the stake president and our mission president. i think that the stake is going to start helping us a lot more. keep us in your prayers.

last sunday a family called us to give their sick baby a blessing. we gave it and he got better almost immediately. then they invited us to do a family home evening last night and brought a non member friend. we taught lesson one and when we invited him to be baptized he gave a flat no. i thought that the members would get mad at us for pushing him but when we were leaving they said sorry and that next time they will try to find someone more prepared... it was pretty funny.

today we played soccer in a park instead of a church. there were guys smoking weed everywhere. it was cool though. they play pretty good!

thats it for this week. sorry this email isnt as funny as the last one but ill try to make it up with the pictures.
