yo yo yo whats up everyone! hope everyone had a great week! my comp and i sure did!
if you know anything about missionary work you know that everything is all about numbers. (jokes) but me and old macias killed the numbers game this week.
we set a baptism date with this girl named valaria for next week and its super awesome because shes been wanting to be baptised for a long time she just never came to church. i finally told her that we cant keep teaching her if she doesnt come to church so she started coming and so we will be having her baptism this saturday at the ponderosa church if anyone wants to come!!!
we also set a date for this super awesome family! the only down side is its not the whole family just the parents and their youngest son. but we have been working on the other siblings and we got their oldest son to come to church who is 18. hopefully we can set a date soon for him too.
a couple weeks ago we got a reference from the temple visitors center of someone super interested but we could never find her house. she finally saw us in the street and stopped us and explained better where her house is. we met with them and they knew missionaries before but ended up moving here and only went to the temple visitors center to see if we could start meeting with them again. the only problem is they arent married which is actually a huge problem here. but i have a ton of faith in them because in the closing prayer she said "father, please help us get married so we can get baptised" after we left me and my comp were just like " AMEN TO THAT!!!!" hahahha but seriously. pray for them to get married so we can baptise them.
other than that i got a couple packages from home. shoutout to mom. love you. keep them coming and ill keep the baptisms coming :)))
bye
