im a district leader again which is actually the worst job in the world but imma do my best to help my district. my district is really cool so im pumped. should be fun.
i have a really funny story about my old district leader which is actually one of my least favorite missionaries in the whole mission.... we did some splits in my area last week and the other elders in my area were in need of a baptismal interview for a 13 year old kid they were teaching. so they asked my dl to do it. so its like 9:30 and we go to do the interview in the business of the investigators mom and elder taylor is like "i cant feel the spirit here we have to go somewhere else to do the interview" come on man... its 930. so we go to the church and he is in the interview for like 40 MINUTES. like bro i didnt even last that long in my interviews with my bishop. dude comes out and says "hes not ready yet. he didnt know any of the questions" the elders were pretty confused cause they knew he knew everything. so the next day they asked one of the zls to do the interview again. and in the second interview the zl asks the kid about the interview and the kid said that he didnt understand the dls spanish at all... so he asked him to do it in english. then the dl asked him "oh you speak english?" to which the kid replied "no but i wont understand you either way... " HAHAHAH this kid roasted him. so thats why he failed the interview. for elder taylors bad spanish #bethouhumble
both my pairs of work shoes came apart this week. my church shoes have been wrecked for months. #20months #rip
