heres to another overly honest email!!!!

very eventful week.

this week the president of the area elder paul peiper came to visit us and taught us a bunch of stuff about how to find and teach and baptize and a bunch of other stuff. wish he would have come at the begining of my mission. oh well. after the zone conference i had an interview with my president. 3 things stuck with me 1. ive been way too worried about myself. i need to think more of others. 2 i will find myself losing myself. 3. follow jesus christ. never too late for improvement!

its been raining a ton and that makes it very hard to do missionary work. and im pretty sick of my socks always being wet.

i dont think ive had so many encounters with drunk/high people in my life until saturday!
we were walking in a park and this señora high on paint thinner (the most popular drug here) just starts staring at us then we walked past her and she started following us and then says "your butt is virgin!!!" it sure is!!!

then later that night we left our phone at a sisters house so we were going to get it and we were walking behing a group of 30-40 high school kids. on their way to a fiesta. all super high. they stopped at a house so we walked past them then a bunch of chicks started cat calling and yelling and all that kinda stuff. "hey white guy!!! we have a party!!!!" yeah i noticed!!! then after we got our phone we were walking back the other way and they were coming towards us so we got in a taxi. but they saw us get in and started knocking on the windows and stuff. it was honestly pretty funny but stuff like that kinda scares me tbh. ive had 2 comps get sent home early for girls. #overlyhonestemail

on sunday my comp and i gave talks. we totally knocked it out of the park. i talked about preach my gospel and how its a tool to help the members and missionaries work together and my comp talked about fellowshiping. toward the end of the meeting our dog somehow made his way into the chapel and sat down right by us.

MEXICO BEAT GERMANY IN THE FIRST GAME OF THE WORLD CUP!!! im not gonna lie. the world cup is lit. its a big step down from march madness but its still sick.

pday was lit as always. we balled hard against some kids at a park and won almost all of our games. just trying to improve my skills every day so i can walk on to duke when i get home.
