at zone conference this past week it hit me in the face that the mission actually ends. and is about over.
it has been a crazy 2 years! im super grateful for all the people ive met and the experiences that ive had. i love this mexico city and the people here (even the ones that rob me and yell swear words at me) this place honestly feels like home which is really weird. jajaja
yesterday my president took us to the pyramids and it was super cool. i recomend it to all. we also had a tour guide whos a member of the church and he explained what happened there and all the similaritys with the book of mormon. the book is true!!!
i just wanna close this whole email thing with a bang and share my very simple testimony with all of you...
I KNOW THAT GOD LIVES. IM SO SURE OF IT. I ALSO KNOW THAT HE LOVES EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US. NO MATTER WHAT. HE LOVES US WITH A PERFECT, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. I KNOW THAT JESUS CHRIST CAME DOWN FROM HIS THRONE IN HEAVEN TO TEACH US HOW TO LOVE AND FORGIVE OTHERS THEN SUFFERED AND DIED FOR OUR SINS. I KNOW THAT HE RESURECTED AND THAT HE LIVES. I KNOW THAT JOSEPH SMITH WAS CALLED AS A PROPHET OF GOD AND RESTORED THE CHURCH THAT CHRIST ESTABLISHED. I KNOW THAT THE BOOK OF MORMON IS TRUE. I KNOW THAT RUSSELL M. NELSON IS A PROPHET OF GOD AND THAT HE RECIEVES REVELATION FOR THE WORLD IN THESE TIMES. I KNOW THAT WHAT IVE BEEN DOING THE PAST 2 YEARS IS THE WORK OF GOD AND THE ONLY WAY FOR GODS CHILDREN TO FIND ETERNAL HAPPINESS AND SALVATION. I KNOW THAT IT IS ONLY BY BAPTISM BY IMMERSION AND THE SPIRIT BY SOMEONE WHO HOLDS GODS AUTHORITY THAT WE ARE CLEANSED FROM OUR SINS. I KNOW THAT THE PLAN OF SALVATION IS REAL AND THAT ONE DAY IF WE ARE FAITHFUL TO OUR COVENTANTS WE WILL BE REUNITED AS ETERNAL FAMILYS AFTER THIS LIFE. I KNOW THAT THE TEMPLE IS THE HOUSE OF THE LORD AND BY WORTHILY ENTERING WE CAN FEEL CLOSER TO GOD AND EXPERIENCE A PEACE AND LOVE THAT IS NOT FELT IN ANY OTHER PLACE.
i know all these things from study, prayer, expiriences that ive had here, and personal revelation. i invite all of you to do those things if you would like to know if the church is true.
i am so grateful for the time ive been able to be in mexico sharing what i know with the people here. i have learned so much about myself. and i have learned so much about christ and his love for me and others.(charity, the pure love of christ) im sad its ending but excited for the next phase of life. i love you all and want to thank you all for reading my emails (even though most of you just looked at the pictures) jajaja. see you real soon! les amo <3
