i actually really had a good time this week. my companion still hates his life and wants to go home but we got along a lot better this week. took a lot of humility on my side not gonna lie hahhaa but oh well. my president told me today that hes not gonna go home but hes set on going so we will just see...
to start off i just wanna say how much it sucks having a dream that youre getting married then waking up on the mission. #relatable but if anyone wants to watch lion king when i get home hmu.
wednesday started off pretty rough. i tried getting my comp up on time and he got mad at me and we argued for a while. i finally told him to give me the phone so i could call the zone leaders and he wouldnt give it to me. it got pretty confrontational and i ended up grabbing the phone then he grabbed me in a headlock. it was pretty crazy hahaha good thing hes never worked out in his life and i was able to push him off pretty easy lol. we spent the rest of the morning in interviews with president. it was honestly pretty funny watching president rip into him hahah
thursday we had our district meeting and then after that we talked to the assistants about the problems were having. they told us that we shouldnt even leave the house until we have a good relationship so we spent the majority of the rest of that day having companionship inventory. we did have a good lesson and i finally asked this guy about baptism that ive wanted to ask for forever. he said he doesnt know yet but probably if he found out it was true. i came out of the lesson stoked but my comp was still mad. lol
saturday we had a lesson in the morning and we ended up leaving too late to walk there on time so we decided to take a taxi which we never do. we waved down a sketchy looking taxi but we were late so whatever. we pretty much sat in silence for most of the way but then the taxi driver asked where he could buy the mormon bible and told us about his interest! i pulled one out of my backpack and he was stoked! we explained it to him and took down his info. he lives way outside the mission but i was just super happy that god put us in his path so that he can find the truth! when i tried paying him he told me that the book of mormon is good enough to pay him! when we got out i told my companion how much i love being a missionary and he was just like "good for you" hahah lol.
later that day we passed for some ice cream and like 30 seconds after i got it it fell out of the cone!!! luckily i have some mad reflexes and i caught it in my hand. my hands were really sticky but at least i got to finish my ice cream!
today we all ate this thing called habanero which is a really spicy chile. man that really hurt going in and coming out lol. ill send the video. not gonna lie i took that thing like a champ but my mouth was seriously on fire.
