ever since thanksgiving ended they started doing the MTC grounds so nice! they put christmas lights on a bunch of palm trees, planted poinsettias everywhere and even set up a nativity kinda by the front! ill send pictures because its really cool and it makes it feel like christmas even though its hot pretty much every day!
last p day after i emailed we went to the temple which was awesome! i love how the church is the same everywhere in the world and being at the temple made me feel at home until i walked outside and i was in mexico hahhaha
ok so that hermana did end up going home like 2 days after i sent my last email. i feel kinda bad for her but at the same time she straight up told us she was out here for herself so if youre out here for the wrong reason its obviously going to be hard and she hasnt read the book of mormon all the way through which was weird.
on saturday my companion got sick and so we went to the clinic they have here and the doctor gave him some antibiotics and said that he had to sleep for the rest of the day and since we have to stay with our companions 24/7 i also got a good nap it was way nice hahahha
sundays in the mtc are really awesome because we hardly study and its pretty much spiritual stuff all day which is a really nice break from studying spanish 14 hours a day!
the rest of the week was pretty much a blur! except remember elder socha who is like dwight?? he is color blind and we asked him what his favorite color is and he said "orange, like the grass" hahhahahah it was so funny. also in my district i kept saying "SOOOO TRUE" so we translated that to spanish and now we all say "TAN VERDAD" (i hope thats right hahaha if anyone knows its wrong let me know) hahaa so anyway the thing we always say is "EL LIBRO DE MORMON ES TAN VERDAD" which means "THE BOOK OF MORMON IS SOOOO TRUE" maybe thats not very funny but every time one of us says it during the day just at a random time its so funny
gym time is for sure my favorite time of day. this week we played sand volleyball pretty much every day and it was way fun but i suck and there are a bunch of people who played in high school and stuff so i just look like a fool hahhah also both me and elder howell are so close to being able to dunk its not even funny.
today we had to go down town to finish our visa stuff and down town mexico is way cool! i honestly felt like we were in new york or something because it was way nice and there were a bunch of nice cars which is weird to me that anyone would drive a bmw or audi down here because everyone drives like a crazy person hahahha
i love hearing from everyone at home and im sorry if i wasnt able to write you back i dont have a ton of time and writing this big email takes forever hahah just know that im getting them and keep sending them because i love it!
send ya boi a letter. im not sure what the website is but mom when you send this out attach the link so everyone can send me letters!
