whats up every1!!!!!! super crazy and evenful week this week!!!
tuesday we had a zone meeting which was a waste of time like always. after that we ate at this place we eat at all the time because when the members dont feel like feeding us they give money to the place. holy cow we eat there so much and i hate the food there. smh we have tried talking to the bishop too. smh
wednesday we had a broadcast from salt lake and we found out they are changing the schedule for missionaries worldwide to where the mission president can change the schedule to fit local needs and all that! the schedule for latin america is that we dont have to wake up until 7:30!!!!!!!! so thats dope!!! most days i wake up before my alarm even goes off hahahah im loving the extra sleep.
after the broadcast we went to eat with these members and a few lessons later i started feeling really sick. long story short we went back to the appartment early because i was so sick. i ended up having 4 double dragons if you know what that is and if you dont you can probably figure it out. nah ill just say. its where fire comes out of both ends. eeek so yeah i was up pretty much all night throwing up and having diharreah. needless to say it was awful. were pretty sure the members we ate with didnt wash the lettuce they fed us. smh
thursday we had zone conference and i think it would have been a lot more fun if i was feeling well and didnt have to run to the bathroom every 20 minutes hhahaah they served a bunch of food that looked way good but i only ate a banana because i was scared i couldnt hold anything else down hahaha lol. after we were going to take a taxi back but a member named lester picked us up and gave us a ride so that saved us about 40 pesos (tender mercies amiright) the rest of that day i just slept and went to the bathroom lol. we had to miss 5 appointments that day all because the members that fed us didnt wash their lettuce. SMH
saturday we had a baptism and that went well. the new ward mission leader is awesome and filled up the font! (its his job anyway the old one just didnt do jack) hahah but yeah it was good. it was an 8 year old girl and now we are going to start teaching her dad!! after the baptism we had to rush to lunch with members so we took a taxi which costed 15 pesos but right when we got out i found 20 pesos on the street!! holy cow God is watching out for me hahaha but it turns out the members that were supposed to feed us forgot but her grandma who is catholic was having a party a few streets up and so we went to the party to eat. THE PARTY WAS FOR A CATHOLIC BAPTISM HAHAHAHAH but they were really nice to us and the food was way good.
thats about it for this week! i love you all be safe and read your scriptures! also my birthday is coming up and if youre planning on sending me something you should do it soon because stuff takes forever to get here! ;)
