so we have to buy these big tanks of gas for hot water and we ran out last monday so on tuesday we had cold showers eeeeek it was aweful.
we got gym memberships at the gym where isai works and so we have been getting up at 5:30 to hit the weights so we dont get fat!!! but the first day we went isai introduded me to his trainer and she tried kissing me on the cheek! hahah i guess thats a cultural thing here hahha it was just funny she went in and i just stood there hahahha eeeeek then isai explained to her that we cant do that lol
the members fed us something so spicey i couldnt even eat it without a ton of this cream stuff. and even then i was sweating while eating it. my mouth was on fire. and believe me it hurt worse coming out. spicey food and dairy man.
on wednesday we went on divisons again and i went with isai. we taught his aunt valentina again and i invited her to be baptised and she said yes! we just have to set a date. but she has a long way to go she smokes and drinks so we will have to work on that. during our lesson her son who is like 35 came out in a towel and we started talking. he started saying stuff i didnt understand and showing me his tattoos. the only thing i understood was that he had respect for me hahahha and he offered me a beer. when i said no he said respect again. after i asked isai what he was saying and turns out he was telling me that he spent 3 years in prison HAHAHAH we also taught alejandra. after we taught her she asked to take a picture of me hahahha
we also set a baptism date for isais cousin for next satuday. i would be more excited if i didnt have to fill up the font again :(
we had interviews with president and that went well! he is a really nice guy. we started our interview in spanish and after a while we started speaking english hahhaha
on friday we ordered pizza again and it was actually a lot better than last time. we joke that every night is "guys night out" hahaha
on saturday we went to this guys house that lives by the stake center for service. we painted his house. after me and my comp went to these tent things called tiangis. its basically a bunch of red tents that people sell stuff out of. you can buy pretty much anything. fake jordans. air max. even iphones. its dope. ill probably pick up a few pairs of jordans if i can even find them in my size hahahha
sunday was a great day!!! we had 7 investigators in church which is really good!! the hardest part is getting people to go to church. after sacrament we asked isai where alejandra was and he told us that shes not actually interested in the gospel shes just interested in looking at me when we go over to teach her hahhahaha so were dropping her. after church we got a reference from church headquarters. we went to check it out. the person doesnt even live there but we asked if we could come in and share a message anyway. the lady said yes and so we went and shared a message about eternal familys. FAMILY OF NINE. and they are super interested in the church. we picked up 9 new investigators right there so SHOUTOUT TO WHOEVER IS PRAYING FOR ME AT HOME ITS WORKING!!!!
