this week was pretty sick! we had a baptism which was cool! i didnt do much to make it happen but count it!!! my spanish is getting a lot better and im understanding a lot more.

last monday after we emailed we went and got haircuts from this guy in the ward who does it for free for us. always love a good haircut! no mom it doesnt compare to your haircuts dont worry! :) then we went and taught this girl who is like 18. she seemed really receptive but im not sure if shes actually interested in the gospel or if shes just interested in talking to us cause were good looking americans hahahha hopefully the first but i guess flirt to convert right??? (im joking)

tuesday was one of my favorite days so far! we went on splits with some recent converts so my spanish was truly put to the test hahahah but it was super awesome! i understood a lot more and was able to say a lot more. we set return appointments with everyone we taught. the person i think has the most promise is valentina. shes the aunt of the guy i went on splits with. (isai)  shes kinda old and has problems with smoking and drinking but she asked to meet with us and really wants to change her life around so im excited to see what happens!

wednesday was crazy!!! we had an appointment with this family and during our lesson this lady just started breast feeding right in front of us!!! needless to say it made me very uncomfortable hahahha just keep eye contact! this lady is kinda crazy too! she worships this thing called the santa muerte which means dead saint. in her house she has a big skeleton dressed in a green dress with candles all around. its weird. she also asks us crazy questions like "where is God" and when we talked about satan she said that he isnt bad hahah anyway. after we taught them our president called us and told us to go straight home because there was people robbing stores and stuff in protest of gas prices or something. we missed a bunch of appointments which was a real bummer. when i got home i set my hammock up on our roof which was dope!

not much happened on thursday but something funny was after we got home i took my shoes off and my comp started complaining about the way my feet smell and im just like " YEAH DUDE WHAT THE FREAK DO YOU THINK THEYRE GOING TO SMELL LIKE WE HAVE BEEN WALKING UP HILLS ALL DAY IN THE HOT SUN" but yeah. hes super blunt and kinda rude sometimes but whatever!!!

a lot of friday was spent getting ready for the baptism. i had to clean the font by myself smh but it wasnt that bad. i see this guy a lot on the street and hes way nice and he speaks good english. were pretty sure he got deported from texas or something and thats why he has such good english hahahha but every time after we talk to him we never set up an appointment or anything and i always feel bad so i prayed for another chance to see him so we can teach him! anyway we saw him and i set up an appointment for us to go teach him! hopefully things go well! that night we ordered pizza for dinner from the place that one of our investigators works. the pizza here honestly sucks. hahahha but she wrote me a note on the box. i dont understand but my comp says it means "made with love" -alejandra. shes the one that i think is more interested in talking to us than the gospel hahahha during one of our lessons she asked if i have a girlfriend hahahha ANYWAY i wont tell her how bad the pizza was to spare her feelings

saturday we had the baptism! the converts name is michel and isai baptised him!  man it takes forever to fill up that font! hopefully i dont have too many more so i dont have to fill it up again! (kidding again) but no it was awesome!

sunday was good! michel got confirmed. one funny thing was during priesthood the bishop was like "if i asked everyone who kept the word of wisdom on new years to raise your hands i wouldnt believe any of you" everyone looked like they felt bad but then my comp raised his hand hahah it was funny.

thats about it! if you wanna know anything else hit me up!

love you all! keep emailing me
