on tuesday we went on exchanges with the district leaders which i was kinda mad about at first because i had just washed my sheets and now i would have the district leader elder lendeche sleeping in my bed smh. but it turned out to not be that bad. i was with elder moore from lehi who doesnt have much more time than me in the mission but his spanish is actually really good. most of our appointments fell through. and for some reason every person we talked to brought up trump and asked what we think of him. im smart enough to know to say that i dont really care even though i freaking love trump. but it turns out the people here hate him lol. we got called trumps grandsons and all that kinda stuff hahha it was actually way funny. lol anyway when we got back to their appartment he told me they have a bunch of conference talks in english so i swooped a few to read.
nothing really happened on wednesday but on thursday the members fed us guinea pig for lunch. it was nasty hahhaha but for dinner we ate some street tacos which are always super good. after that i drank a liter and a half of coke. THE COKE HERE IS SO GOOD HOLY COW. i drink way too much hahhaha
on friday a lot of our appointments fell through but we did find a new investigator named julio who got back together with his girlfriend who is a recent convert and she told him that she would only date him if he got baptised hahhaha so we started teaching him and at the end hes like "so when can i get batised" hahaha but hes already come to church with her like 3 times. i just really hope we can get him converted rather than just joining the church for his girlfriend.
on saturday we had an appointment for every hour but almost all of them fell through and we only ended up teaching 2. we were supposed to have a baptism but it got moved to next saturday because the girls dad had work that day.
on sunday i gave a talk in church. i somehow escaped all 6 weeks of the mtc never giving one and now i guess life caught up with me hahhaha i was cracking jokes left and right but either i didnt translate the jokes very well or they just werent funny because no one really laughed hahhha i talked about the book of mormon which is my favorite gospel topic by far!!!
thats my whole week. not super eventful hahhaha
