this week was nuts! we have been having so many appointments lately we literally have had to run to appointments! which is actually really nice. i prefer teaching over finding all day but sometimes when we get home at night we realize we didnt have time to contact a single person. but i think im going to start just asking for references because its wayyyy more effective than contacting. anyway!

tuesday we did divisions with the APS and it was dope! i love learning how i can get better as a missionary and there is no better way than spending the day with the best missionarys in the mission! i was with elder asay who goes home in 2 weeks and it was honestly just a great day. he said something really funny but when you read it you have to take it as a joke... "when i get home and go to YSA ward i cant wait to tell everyone i was assistant in my mission" i laughed pretty hard. hes a good guy. 

yeserday we were walking down the street and saw a kid smoking which is pretty normal here but then i realized it was an old investigator! hes 15 and i asked him why he was smoking and he said for stress. i told him to chuck it and he did then started telling me why he was so stressed. when we contacted him the first time he didnt seem interested at all but i think now is the right time to start teaching him again. hoping for the best! 

other than that we just had a really solid week. we are hoping for 3 baptisms this change and right now it looks like they will all happen! yesterday we had 5  investigators in the church which i was stoked about! that sounds like nothing for mexico but you have to understand that this is one of the toughest areas in the mission and when i got here there were literally 3 investigators and none of them were progressing. so we dropped all of them and started with zero. right now we have about 9 progressing so i feel pretty satisfied with the work ive done here so far. theres a saying that is always leave your area better than it was when you got there. i feel like its a ton better so im happy. hopefully ill stay here another change.
