SHARK

so the other day my comp and i were walking and talking about food and hes from puerto rico and before his mission he fished as a job with his dad and told me that SHARK is really good to eat. so if you tryna hit up puerto rico after the mish and eat some shark hmu. 

also we were walking and i see this dude with a LACROSSE STICK?!?! i stopped him and asked him about it and apparently the mexico national lacrosse team practices in my area! currently trying to convince my comp to let me play but so far hes just not having it. stll dope tho. 

you might thing that as a missionary i have some higher moral code but the truth is ive gotten GREAT at lying. hahaha like knocking on a door and asking for a random name or asking for street names just to contact people and stuff like that. who would have thought id get good at lying on my mission hahah but oh well. its for the good of the work. ANYWAY we were knocking on doors and this old lady comes out so i ask her for margarita. she said she didnt know her (obviously because its a fake name) so i start introducing ourselves and then her husband comes out and starts yelling at me for being american and tells me that they only want to talk to mexicans. i just laughed and told him that i am mexican to which he replied "well you have the accent of a gringo" i told him i was sorry and that im from sonora (a state in north mexico) he calmed down and said sorry and he thought i was american. hahahah it was way funny. didnt ever teach them its just a funny story. 

sunday was a great day! after church a member came up to us and gave us a reference for a guy that listened to the missionarys before but couldnt quit smoking so we went to visit him and he told us that he quit smoking and drinking a year ago and wants to get baptized.!!! obviously we were stoked and set a date for the last saturday of the change. its not to keep throwing crap at my old comp but ever since hes been gone the members have been giving us a ton of references. i dont think its a coincidence. lol 

I HAVE GAINED SO MUCH WEIGHT. at this rate ill be wobbling off the plane lol #20poundsin9months pics below
